COP26, a UN conference that aimed to spread awareness of environmental issues and inspire political actors to take a stronger stance on global warming through new stricter policies.
However, as Swedish activist Greta Thunberg stated that they are nothing but “blah, blah, blah”—empty words with no actions. We can say the same regarding the many inaccessibility mishaps that occurred. From the closure of the accessibility entrance to the lack of proper captions, the event was an accessibility disaster.
